We’re excited to kick off the season with The Fuzzy Horse Show, and clinic our first event of the year!
Join us at the KRC on May 16, 2026 for this all-breed open show, featuring an SCQHA clinic and judging by Ryley Wilson.
Ryley is a multi-time World Champion in Reined Cow Horse and Versatility Ranch Horse, and the only Canadian to ever win the NHSRA Reined Cow Horse World Championship. With a program focused on correct fundamentals, stockmanship, and longevity, she brings top-level experience and practical horsemanship to every horse and rider.

AQHA Professional Horseman, Kristy Smith owns and operates Kristy’s Quarter Horses an 18 stall training facility in Lenhartsville, PA where she trains and shows in a variety of disciplines with a primary focus on Ranch events.
In her 35 years showing Quarter Horses, she has trained, shown or owned numerous AQHA, NSBA, & PHBA World & Congress Champions and Reserve Champions. Besides training and showing extensively both regionally and nationally throughout the year, she also regularly gives Ranch Riding Clinics in both the US and Canada and serves on the Board of Directors for the Pennsylvania Quarter Horse Association. She resides in Pennsylvania with her husband, Kevin, their son Kace and dogs Racy and Trip.
AQHA Professional Horseman Kristy Smith brings over 35 years of experience to this Ranch Riding clinic, with an accomplished record of training and showing multiple World and Congress Champions. Join Kristy for focused, practical instruction designed to strengthen fundamentals and elevate performance in Ranch events.

Rachel Scobie of Paso Robles, California, has been training and showing all-around performance horses for more than 29 years. Coming from a lifelong horse family that team ropes and showed Appaloosas, Rachel began showing horses at just two years old and has dedicated her life to developing exceptional horses and riders.
Throughout her career, Rachel has earned multiple World and Reserve World Championships in the Paint and Pinto Associations, along with numerous AQHA All-Around titles in Open, Amateur, and Youth competition. Known for her versatile program, Rachel specializes in developing true all-around horses while coaching amateur and youth riders to reach their goals in the show pen.
From starting two-year-olds to finishing competitive all-around horses, her program focuses on building confident, willing horses capable of excelling across multiple events.
Rachel also holds her WRHA card and has been enjoying the ranch horse events, especially sharing the experience in the show pen with her daughter.
Rachel and her family operate Scobie’s Performance Horses, where they continue to share their passion for developing quality horses, confident riders, and true horsemen.
