BCQHA wishes to support members in attending BCQHA events. The cost of travel in our large province has been raised as one of the determining factors for members in attending events. BCQHA will provide a limited amount of funds ($500 per zone) to be dispersed under the following guidelines:
- All applications must be received by the Treasurer of the Zone by September 30.
- Applicants must be BCQHA members. Only one application per member will be considered. Applications must be for a BCQHA approved event but it can be a clinic, education event, Ride, Trail Challenge, show or other BCQHA activity. Travel to only the AGM is not included.
- Funds will only be provided for travel within the province of BC. Under no circumstances will funds be given for travel outside BC or non BCQHA events.
- Funds will be distributed on a prorated basis depending on the number of applications received by the zone and in no case shall the amount exceed $100 per applicant.
- Zones will distribute the funds after receiving the funding check from BCQHA at the end of September.
